These instructions apply to all YawdFinds accounts at yawdfinds.com, including accounts created with Google or through the YawdFinds Authentication app used for Facebook sign-in.
Sign in, open Account → Delete Account, and follow the confirmation steps. Account deletion is permanent and ends your access to that account. Save anything you need before proceeding.
If you cannot sign in, or want to request deletion of specific information, including Facebook or Google sign-in data, email [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request”.
Include the email address associated with your YawdFinds account and describe what you want deleted. If possible, send the request from that address. Do not send passwords or identity documents. We may ask you to confirm control of the account to prevent unauthorized deletion.
We will respond without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines, confirm the outcome, and explain any information that must be retained and why. You can contact the same address for an update.
In Facebook settings, open Apps and Websites, find YawdFinds Authentication, and choose Remove. This revokes the connection; it does not by itself delete your YawdFinds account or information already stored by YawdFinds. Use either method above to request deletion of that information.
Disconnecting Google does not delete your YawdFinds account or information we already received. Use account deletion or the email request above to delete that information. If Google is your only sign-in method, complete online account deletion before disconnecting, or contact support by email afterward.

Deleting your YawdFinds account does not delete your Google or Facebook account. You can separately remove the provider connection using the steps above. An account deletion request covers your YawdFinds account and associated personal information, including sign-in information received from Facebook or Google. Limited records may need to be retained for applicable legal obligations or a specific dispute, and backup copies may remain until their backup cycle expires. We cannot delete copies that other users or external services have independently saved.
